Mrs/Ms Earth 2011 Pageant



November 24, 2011- Negril, Jamaica - Beautiful women from all around the earth came to participate in the elite pageant for modern women.

During the pageant week in Jamaica, delegates participated in press conferences, photo shoots, production rehearsals, tours of Negril, Jamaica, studied customs of Jamaica, discussed global problems and relaxed in the Jamaican sun on Negril’s famous 7 mile white sand beach. Delegates had an opportunity to speak about their nations and the development of the world and the impacts world growth will have on our environment. Delegates also shared their personal life experiences of their chosen charities and community volunteerism, in an effort to better teach others the importance of volunteerism, to make it a part of everyday live.

The Mrs. /Ms. Earth International Organization truly believes in impacting change from the ground up. Delegates had the opportunity to visit the Negril "All Ages School". (A primary education institution that develops the young minds of Negril’s youth.) Children ages 5 thru 12 attend this school. During this visit, The Mrs. /Ms. Earth International Organization, donated over 150 school bags, pens, pencils, glue, crayons to the school. Chelsea Cooper, Mrs. Jamaica Earth 2011 (an alumni of Negril "All Ages School), and other delegates met with the principal and presented their countries to over 500 hundred students. Anna Rin, Mrs. Russia Earth 2011 sang a special song for the children in her native language. The students were excited and amazed by each delegate and enjoyed the educational visit. Contestants posed with the children for photos and signed autographs for each child. The visit was a heartwarming experience that inspired delegates to dedicate this year’s charity efforts to the education system in Jamaica. Delegates are going to Organize charity fundraisers in counties all over the Earth as an effort to insure every child has the opportunity to an education.

The final show was held under the stars at the Seawind Beach Resort & Spa in Negril, Jamaica. Hundreds of spectators from countries all over the world came to watch the filming of this Glamorous event. This year’s celebration marks the 5th year of this annual event and was hosted by model/actor Michael R. Stafford. During the two hour event delegates had the opportunity to introduce themselves and their countries on stage. They competed in personal interviews w/ judges, high fashion, fitness and evening gowns. Nadia Zamoldskaya, Ms. Europe Earth, amazed the judges with her dress constructed from recycled paper. Everyone was surprised to see the glamorous evening gown worn by Anna Rin, Mrs. Russia Earth 2011. The audience was treated to the local reggae sounds of popular Jamaican group. Wilson Pomlinson a talented youth and Negril "All Ages School" student (School in Negril Jamaica), also performed two popular songs during the production. The new full crown created especially for the 5th year anniversary was very sophisticated and classy. The delegates were extremely excited to have chance to be the first to wear this new symbol of beauty, kindness, and charity for all the earth to see. The show closed with the crowning of Mrs. & Ms. Earth 2012, Jamaica R&B songstress Sonya gave a show stopping performance of Tina Turners "Simply the Best", during the first walk of Earths’ newest Queens.

While the show was over and new queens were crowned, the evening was just beginning. Delegates and spectators relished about the after glamor party sponsored by Negril's SeaWind Beach Resort & Spa. This was a great addition to the 5th annual celebration as it was held on Thanksgiving day. The winners took pleasure of their first supper as official Earth international queens. Attendees had a moment of silence to reflect upon the things they were most thankful for. Everyone appreciated the positive environment and the international cuisine which included one of the juiciest turkeys. The surprises continued at the post pageant press conference when Anna Rin, Mrs. Earth, 2012 & Nadia Zamoldskaya, Ms. Earth, 2012, announced they had decided to donate their prize package with a combine worth over $10000.00 dollars to this year’s charity operation fund. "This is my chance to give something back and do something that will benefit children directly", said Zamoldskaya, Ms. Earth 2012. "I want to make a difference and lead others to do the same", said Rin, Mrs. Earth 2012. "I am amazed and inspired by these two women! This very simple act of kindness and selflessness is not something you see every day! This is evidence that these women are beautiful inside & out and truly deserve to be Queens", said Michael R. Stafford, President/CEO of Mrs./Ms. Earth International Organization. He continues, "I am very excited, honored and look forward to working with both of these women this year."

The Mrs. /Ms. Earth pageant and its international delegates believe in promoting family & spiritual values, volunteerism, community involvement, and preserving planet Earth. This organization gives women a forum to promote a special cause, network and interact with women from different counties who practice different cultures. There is no set profile for the champion of the event. Ms./Mrs. Earth is a role model, a shining example of women hood at its best. She is the total package: beautiful inside & out, successful, confident and driven.
